As a kid I used to absolutely love Honey Nut Cheerios! I would eat them dry or in the morning with milk. They were a constant on my mom’s shopping list, that’s for sure! As I grew up they became less of a staple. However, from time to time I would have a craving for them. I got one of those cravings last year and being on a puréed diet, initially thought it would not be possible to satisfy it. I knew that we would not be able to purée the Cheerios after putting the milk on due to too many squishy bits. So I thought “we should just grind the dry Cheerios down to powder like the stuff at the bottom of the bag. If we add milk after this it should make a paste.” Sure enough, it works and now I have Honey Nut Cheerios whenever I want! I also tried this process with Rice Krispies and had the same success.
